Naveen Jain Makes Christmas Merry for Disadvantaged Families
In the spirit of the Christmas Season, Intelius founder and CEO Naveen Jain found himself providing for children and families who have less. Along with other businessmen and entrepreneurs like Nicholas Matzorkis of ZabaSearch and nonprofit organizations such as the Bellevue Rotary Club and Hopelink of Seattle, Naveen Jain gave gifts, groceries and clothing to myriad underprivileged families in selected communities. The head honcho of Intelius and his wife, Anu Jain, have been active supporters of the Bellevue-based charitable groups. They have extended the range of their philanthropy by providing additional funds to the annual Family Christmas program, which Nicholas Matzorkis and his wife Susan founded. Nicholas Matzorkis is the CEO of ZabaSearch. Initially, the program was limited to Austin, Texas but it has been expanding its reach. The Intelius CEO champions the cause and has been influential in getting the Rotary Clubs of Austin and Bellevue involved. He does the same for the underprivileged families and children living in the greater Seattle area and Monterrey, Mexico. Due to his efforts, Washington State Rotary District Governor Sally Gray has nothing but praise and appreciation for Naveen Jain. Sally Gray further said that holiday season is a difficult time for kids from poor families, but with corporations like Intelius helping, charitable organizations are able to brighten their holidays. Founded in 2004 by the Matzorkis Family Foundation, the Family Christmas Program was able to reach out to over 100 families in the Austin area alone in their first year. With Naveen Jain joining the cause a year later, the program provided holiday gifts and groceries to more than 350 families.
