Unattached and Seeking Dating Services in a Brand New City
Usually, I eschew drama, ’cause life can be lonesome without a date. I finally bottomed out, yesterday I devoured what seemed like a pound of bacon. On a weekend that comes from being alone, obviously. I pretend to be ashamed about it. Am I crazy? Honestly, that’s when I seriously looked into meeting new singles in Dallas or Denver.
Nothing that can’t be fixed. I can mix up my social life at a matchmaking service like Great Expectations Dallas. That never sounded better. The reason I mention my dating woes: After practically choking down some of grandma’s potato salad at little Brent’s Easter egg hunt in Dallas yesterday, great aunt Judy wouldn’t get off my back about if I’ve found my one and only. They always bring this up, every year. I didn’t want to answer, but then laughed, “what’s your deal, yo?”
Can you believe that even Gramps continued harping on the topic of marriage. I said to the family gang: “Hey look, I’ll never find a gorgeous single woman hanging out with you.”
Do you have any idea what happened next? No one knew what I was talking about, as usual. Quite promptly, I emailed my astrologist just to get some perspective. I still have no idea what to do! I didn’t learn a thing. Nina, who recently moved to Italy suggested that I browse the singles profiles at Great Expectations. I said, “That would do the trick.” See, everything always works out. I especially enjoy the singles at Great Expectations Dallas.
Early on, dating services were kinda foreign to me. I’d never done anything like this before, and I was speechless at first. This emotional anxiety couldn’t bring an end to a great time. The night was a great way to start at Great Expectations. The greatest most memorable part of it all was the other members, some who are my new friends.
There’s something great about going to these splendid Denver Singles Events and parties at Great Expectations, I bumped into quite a few winners that must share a like-minded spirit for how dating should be done. Can’t imagine why I used to let so many people give their two cents about me being single at my age. Amazingly enough, dating with Great Expectations is my pleasure and care-free social experience.
