<p class="MsoNormal">The landmark building is 46 storeys high and is located in the EC2 district of the capital.<span style="">  </span>Those who want office space in the centre of the business district will be pleased to hear that the project will result in the availability of 439,560 sq ft of <a href="http://www.deskspacegenie.co.uk/search/london">desk space <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">London</st1:place></st1:city></a>.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The occupation of the tower will be seen by CB Richard Ellis.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Heron Tower will only get a moment in the spotlight as the tallest capital building however, as the soon to be built Pinnacle also referred to as the Bishopsgate Tower and the Helter-Skelter; will soon go up in May of 2012 taking on the title at 63 storeys with a height of 288m.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Outside of office Space, the <a href="http://www.herontower.com/the_building/"><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Heron</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Tower</st1:placetype></st1:place></a> will also offer apartments, a skybar, and a restaurant on floors 38-40.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">It achieved an &#8216;Excellent&#8217; rating from BREEAM at the start of 2010 and is renowned for its energy efficient office systems.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The tower will have six external lifts that will allow workers to head to their desks while observing the stunning views from the building.<span style="">  </span>Additionally, the offices will be designed with clear glass so that natural daylight can be utilized throughout the building.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Heron</st1:placename>  <st1:placetype w:st="on">Tower</st1:placetype></st1:place> is due to be completed by February of 2011 and will stand at 230m with nearby service from the Liverpool Street Underground station and an overground at the actual building.</p>
